For exceptional wear reduction and long service life in all applications requiring a "pure" or "straight" mineral gear lubricant.

401 ALMASOL Pure Mineral Gear Lubricant is a balanced formulation of natural high VI paraffinic base oils, rust and oxidation inhibitors, wear-reducing agents and other additives which provide the highest level of wear reduction possible without the use of a chemically active EP agent. It also contains ALMASOL, LE's exclusive wear-reducing additive.

Some manufacturers of transmissions and gearboxes specify a "pure" or "straight" mineral oil gear lubricant. This means that this type of gear lubricant should not contain chemically active EP additives. These terms do not mean that the lubricant may not contain various other highly desirable additives.

Heavy-Duty Grease Performs in Extreme Conditions

Almaplex Ultra-Syn Lubricant has the power to increase equipment uptime and enhance bottom line profitability by offering exceptional quality, versatility and reliability. A heavy-duty synthetic grease containing LE’s proprietary additives Almasol® and Quinplex®, Almaplex Ultra-Syn provides optimum performance under extreme operating conditions. It is an aluminum complex thickened grease made with an ISO 460 viscosity synthetic base fluid, a combination that provides superior high-temperature functionality, low-temperature pumpability and excellent performance in the presence of water.

Almaplex 1299 & 1298 (NLGI grades 2 & 1, respectively) provide 73 percent higher extreme pressure performance than competitive grease, as indicated by the results of the Four Ball EP Test. In the Water Spray-Off Test, competitive greases lost almost six times more grease. This performance offers the potential for energy savings and reduced operating temps in applications such as construction, agriculture, mining, steel mills and paper mills; hammer mills; extruders and ball mills. Almaplex 1299 can be used in couplings where AGMA CG-1, CG-2 and CG-3 lubricants are recommended.

Almaplex 1297 & 1295 (NLGI grades 0 & 000, respectively) are semifluid greases with superior film strength. They are excellent for use in heavily loaded bearings in cold temperature applications. They also perform well in any gearbox that requires a semifluid grease, particularly enclosed gearboxes where housings and seals have lost their ability to retain conventional gear oils.

Solid Lubricant Grease with Calcium Sulfonate Complex Thickener Provides Lasting Protection for Heavy Mobile Equipment

Lubrication Engineers, Inc. formulated its solid lubricant-containing, calcium sulfonate-thickened Almamoly™ HD Grease for use in severe conditions such as high temperatures, heavy loads and water. This high-performance grease is intended for long-lasting use in heavy-duty mobile equipment such as that used in construction, agriculture, open pit mining and road-building.

Almamoly HD Grease contains Almasol®, LE’s proprietary solid additive as well as 5 percent molybdenum disulfide (also known as molydisulfide or moly). Compared to other solid lubricant-containing greases that rely on moly or graphite alone, Almamoly HD Grease’s synergistic combination of moly and Almasol gives it better wear resistance. This unique combination of solids helps ensure reliable lubrication, staying in place even when the lubricant is squeezed out of the contact zone due to extreme pressure (EP) or heavy shock loading. The calcium sulfonate complex thickener provides additional performance features that make this grease desirable for a variety of extreme conditions.

Environmentally friendly, synthetic lubricant promotes smooth,long-lasting operation despite extreme heat & moisture

Thorough, penetrating lubrication of the pin and bushing areas of oven chains is of utmost importance in ensuring smooth, efficient operation and long equipment life. Severe operating conditions, including extreme heat and moisture, can lead to corrosion and premature equipment failure if lubrication is inadequate.

Other costly side effects resulting from inadequate lubrication include:
    • Chain links sticking and strands of chains becoming inflexible
    • Chains becoming longer because of rough operation and wear
    • Chains jumping off sprockets, contributing to early breakage and failure
    • Electrical energy consumption increasing as the amount of friction increases

A successful oven chain lubricant has the ability to deliver the solids suspended in the lubricant carrier to the pin and bushing areas. As the carrier dissipates, only the necessary lubricating solids are left, coating the metal to prevent wear and corrosion. A good lubricant also will withstand heat over time – resisting oxidation – allowing it to last longer and continue to protect the equipment.

Almasol® Oven Chain Lubricant is the solution to trouble-free oven chain lubrication. It contains a synergistic blend of lubricating solids, including submicron-sized Almasol particles, in a specially designed synthetic carrier fluid. The environmentally friendly fluid evaporates, leaving behind a protective film of solids to lubricate chain parts without any accumulation of gum, carbon particles or other hard deposits. The protective solid film is water-resistant and reduces frictional drag over a broad temperature range in excess of the operating temperature of most ovens.

Lubrication Engineers operates under an ISO 9001 Certified Quality System.

Superior Heat Resistance Keeps Oven Chain Operating Freely

Ovenworx™ H1 Syn Chain Lubricant (4061) was formulated specifically to combat the demanding conditions present with oven chain applications. In addition, it is approved for incidental food contact and contains no artificial dyes, making it a good choice for food manufacturing plants.

Oven chain efficiency is dependent upon a lubricant that can keep the chain operating freely and smoothly, fighting the ever present heat and moisture that can cause corrosion and eventually lead to premature failure of oven chain pins and bushings. Only the most robust lubricant formulations can perform in this application; it is not an area to cut corners. If the oven chain fails, output comes to a screeching halt.

In addition to this high level of protection, equipment runs more cleanly and efficiently with Ovenworx 4061, which lubricates without the need of solids. Lubricants with solids have to be stirred to keep the solids distributed within the carrier and prevent them from falling out of the suspension. Solids also can create housekeeping issues by building up over time, creating gum and gunk around the application area, especially when over-applied.

  • Pails/Oil

Premium grade, high temperature chain lubricant contains ALMASOL®, and other submicron lubricating solids dispersed in a special high temperature synthetic carrier. Suitable for application to hot chains without interrupting production operations. When used as directed, the carrier penetrates to all moving parts, leaving a protective film of lubricating solids as it cleanly volatilizes without residue at high temperatures. Will not gum or char, offering maximum migration into chain pins. Reduces frictional drag without building up hard deposits.
